Procurement of EGS Spare Parts, CCF 1.0 Background Procurement of these components is necessary to ensure spare parts are available for Kennedy Space Center Propellants & Life Support Services (KPLSS) equipment to support Artemis systems, including the Compressor/Converter Facility (CCF), commodity lines, rechargers, and panels. These systems provide high-pressure helium, low- and high-pressure nitrogen, breathing air, and oxygen. Spare parts are required to be purchased to have on-hand in the event of component failure, to minimize outages and provide continued support to Exploration Ground Systems (EGS). This purchase is for spare parts to support this effort. Each system has certain cleaning requirements, per KSC-C-123. Cleaning specifications are noted for components using this standard, which is similar to industry standard ASTM G93 and ANSI/ASTM B.40.1. 2.0 Requirements The following are the components needed to ensure EGS has the minimum number of spares needed for Artemis III. Quotes must have estimated AROs and any additional lead time from the manufacturer. Specified cleaning is requested to be completed by the vendor per ASTM G93 specifications through a full disassembly and reassembly process, unless otherwise noted to be flow-through or to use ASTM B40.1, prior to shipment to Kennedy Space Center. A certificate of conformance shall be included with the delivery of the component.
