Description

1 Surround Sound Install Human Performance Training Center next to Building #91650 23rd Special Tactics Squadron Hurlburt Field, FL 25 Mar 2026 1. DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES: 1.1 A certified contractor shall provide all necessary supervision, labor, travel, materials, tools, equipment, accessories and other items necessary to safely complete the installation of the 23d Special Tactic Squadron’s surround sound system to the Human Performance Training Center (HPTC) next to 916 Sanchez Street in Hurlburt Field AFB, FL 32544, as described in this Statement of Work (SOW). 2. INSTALLATION: 2.1 The contractor is responsible for the purchase of equipment as described at 8.0. The contractor will install the surround sound equipment needed to ensure the surround sound is operable in new building. The locations of the equipment installation shall be verified with the 23rd Special Tactics Squadron (23 STS) prior to the performance of the installation. 3. COLLATERAL SUPPORT: 3.1 The Government shall provide the following in support of this effort. 3.1.1 Provide assistance in acquiring related permits that may be necessary for work performed. 3.1.2 Coordinate access into the installation. 3.1.3 Provide storage space/staging area for materials and an operating space with telephone capability for the installation team. HPTC next to BLDG 91650 shall act as the main staging area for the contractor during the installation process. To request additional space contact 23 STS project manager. The government is not responsible for materials left unattended or unsecured. Contractor personnel are required to wear or prominently display installation identification badges or contractor-furnished contractor identification badges while visiting or performing work on the installation. 3.2 The contractor will be required to complete a Contractor Employee Listing (to be provided to the government) for employees to gain access to the installation: Attachment 1 - SOW Attachment 1 - SOW -- 1 of 6 -- 2 3.2.1 The Contractor Employee List. This form must list every employee requiring access. Every time employees change; it must be updated to reflect additions and/or deletions. Identify those individuals you wish to have escort authority by including the word “Escort” or “E” next to their names. Limit the number of individuals designated as escorts to a reasonable number (i.e., one or two). For work locations please use building numbers or areas (i.e., Building #91650.). Once completed, send the list to the Contracting Office representative in EXCEL format using secure means such as hand carry, mail, or electronic mail. The Contracting Officer will then prepare and attach a cover letter and forward the Employee List to the Visitor Control Center. 3.2.2 During the performance of the contract, the contractor shall be responsible for obtaining required identification for newly assigned personnel and for prompt return of credentials and vehicle passes for any employee who no longer requires access to the work site. 3.2.3 Upon completion or termination of the contract or expiration of the identification passes, the prime contractor shall ensure that all base identification passes issued to employees and subcontractor employees are returned to the issuing office. 3.2.4 Failure to comply with these requirements may result in the withholding of final payment. 3.3 Retrieving Identification Media. The contractor shall be responsible for retrieving all identification media including visitor passes from employees who depart for any reason before the contract expires. For example, termination for cause, retirement, etc.... Visitor passes shall be retrieved and turned into 1SOSFS Pass and Registration/Visitor Center once the contractor and its employees leave the base for the last time. 3.4 Traffic Laws. The contractor and employees shall comply with the Base traffic regulations. 3.5 Weapons, Firearms, Ammunition. The contractor employees are prohibited from possessing weapons, firearms, or ammunition or within the contractor vehicle or privately owned vehicles while on the Government installation. 4. 23 STS shall provide a host escort for the contractors during the installation. The 23 STS project manager shall coordinate with facility/users to ensure rooms and work areas are available when access is required. 5. SYSTEM MAINTENANCE: 5.1 The contractor shall provide a one year of warranty maintenance and replacement parts on all new equipment installed by the contractor. The warranty shall start on the day the government accepts the entire project. 5.2 Infrastructure Malfunctions. The contractor and government representatives will coordinate to Attachment 1 - SOW Attachment 1 - SOW -- 2 of 6 -- 3 troubleshoot problems during the installation and the one-year warranty/maintenance period. 5.3 The contractor shall be able to act upon requests for technical support within 48 hours of initial end user request. 6.0 SECURITY REQUIREMENTS: 6.1 The contractor shall always comply with base security requirements to include base pass requirements and personnel security clearance. 6.2 The contractor shall obtain base identification and vehicle passes, if required, for all contractor personnel who make frequent visits to or perform work on the Air Force installation(s) 7. Pre-Installation 7.1 Review site conditions and confirm loudspeaker and equipment locations with client 7.2 Verify power availability for amplifiers, DSP, and Bluetooth wall plate 7.3 Coordinate installation schedule with client 8.0 Installation 8.1 Please see all exact equipment descriptions in the salient characteristics attachment. 8.1.1 Mount and secure (8) Danley GO2-8CX loudspeakers or substitute at designated locations around the gym 8.1.2 Mount and secure (3) Danley TH212 subwoofers or substitute at approved locations 8.1.3 Install (2) Danley DNA10k4PRO or substitute amplifiers in Lowell wall mount rack or substitute 8.1.4 Install and mount the Atlas IED AZM4 DSP or substitut
