Description
Performance Work Statement
for
Mobility Section Work Center
1.0 Background & Scope
• 1.1. Background: This Performance Work Statement (PWS) defines the requirement to procure and deliver a complete
work center solution for the 55th Rescue Generation Squadron's Mobility Section at Davis-Monthan AFB. The section
currently utilizes aging, disparate equipment and lacks a standardized workspace, which impedes the efficiency of
preparing assets for deployment.
• 1.2. Intent: The purpose of this project is to establish a modern, streamlined, and fully integrated work area. The new
work center will provide organized storage, dedicated workstations, and a mobile cart for transporting completed kits to
Intermediate Staging Units (ISUs). This will standardize the process, increase efficiency, and significantly improve the
unit's ability to support global deployment requirements.
• 1.3. Desired Layout/ Design: Attached for reference is a diagram with the desired layout as well as the dimensions
from a top-down perspective. Upon contract award, the 55th Rescue Generation Squadron Mobility Section requests
contact with the vendor to confirm design/ layout applicability prior to the start of item construction/procurement. The
Government is able to provide pictures of the space or anything else needed to ensure our requirements are met.
• 1.4. Scope: The contractor will provide, deliver, and ensure the compatibility of all items specified in this PWS to create
a single, level, functional work center solution. The contractor will procure all materials, deliver, and assemble
workstation on site.
