1. PROJECT DESCRIPTION
The U.S. Bureau of Reclamation, Central California Area Office (CCAO), purchased and
assembled a PEQUEA 24’ x 50’ Timber Pavilion Frame. The insulated glass units procured
under this requirement will be installed by Government personnel.

2. REQUIREMENT
The Contractor shall fabricate and deliver insulated glass units that meet the specifications
below.
2.1 Quantity
Eight (8) insulated glass units sized to fit the truss openings at both ends of the pavilion.
2.2 Dimensional Requirements
• Contractor shall field verify all dimensions prior to fabrication.
• Drawings provided are general and approximate. Final fabrication dimensions must be
based on verified field measurements.
• Provide ½ inch clearance on all edges between glazing units and existing timber framing
to allow for natural expansion, structural movement, and settling.
2.3 Product Specifications
Each insulated glass unit shall meet the following minimum requirements:
• Fully tempered insulated glass
• ¼” Low‑E 355 over ¼” clear
• 1 inch overall thickness
