1 Chickasaw National Recreation Area Specifications: Cedar Shingles DATED: July 15, 2026 NATIONAL PARK SERVICE -- 1 of 3 -- 2 Description: Chickasaw National Recreation Area is requesting Bids for Purchase of 2 • 20 Pallets of 18” Blue Label # 1 Pressure Treated with Fire Retardant Red Cedar shingles with • 15 bundles of Red Cedar Shingle Ridge Units Cedar Shingle Specifications: • 20 pallets (10 bundles per pallet) • Must be Western Red Cedar Shingles (Thuja plicata) • Blue Label # 1 Grade • Pressure Treated with Fire Retardant Class A Rating • Must be classified as 18” “Perfection” shingles. • Minimum Length 18” • 100% Edge Grain • 100% Clear, No defects • No Flat Grain • Max Roof Exposure 5.5” • Shingle width (nominal) 4” to 14” • Butt Thickness (nominal) 1/2” • 4 bundles Per Square Cedar Shingle Ridge Specifications: • Supply 15 bundles Cedar Shingle Ridge Units: Prefabricated lapped single ply units of matching quality and thickness. • Must be compatible with quoted Cedar Shingles. Delivery Requirements: Chickasaw National Recreation Area Maintenance Yard 134 Bison Road Sulphur, OK. 73086 -- 2 of 3 -- 3 Delivery Requirements: • FOB Destination • Delivery hours 8AM to 3PM Monday thru Friday (with the exception of Federal holidays). • Notification must be provided 1 working day in advance so a forklift can be available.
