Description
1. Purpose:
1.1 The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Eastern Colorado Health Care System (ECHCS), requires procurement of new Vocera V5000 Smartbadge equipment and associated licenses, accessories, and OEM warranty/support to replace end-of-life Vocera B3000n Smartbadges.

3. Warranty
3.1 Manufacturer Warranty
The contractor shall provide manufacturer (OEM) warranty coverage for all components beginning on the date of acceptance.
The warranty shall include, at a minimum:
Coverage for defects in materials and workmanship
Parts and labor included during the warranty period
OEM-authorized service and technical support
Access to OEM software and firmware updates released during the warranty period
Warranty coverage shall be no less than the manufacturer’s standard commercial warranty.
4. Delivery:
4.1 All components shall be delivered to FOB Destination within thirty (30) calendar days of award, unless otherwise specified.
4.2 Delivery Location:

4.3 Delivery Hours of Operation: Monday – Friday; 0700hrs – 1500hrs; excluding all Federal Holidays and any other day specifically declared a National Holiday by the President of the United States.

4.4 Acceptance will occur upon verification of correct quantities delivered and confirmation that equipment is operational and free of damage.
4.5 Delivery Markings: Contractor shall deliver items in manufacturer's original sealed containers with manufacturer’s name marked thereon. Deliveries shall be marked with the following information:

5. Security Requirements:
5.1 Information Security:
The smart badges will connect to the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) wireless network and must comply with all applicable VA information security, privacy, and cyber security requirements.
5.2 Encryption and Data Protection:
All smart badges shall support encryption, specifically Federal Information Processing Standards 104-2 (FIPS 104-2), for any transmitted, processed, or stored on the device or across the VA network.
