Description
This is not a request for bids, quotes, or proposals. The purpose of this notice is to conduct market research and obtain information from qualified potential offerors. The Charles George VA Medical Center, 1100 Tunnel Road, Asheville, NC 28805 and W.G. (Bill) Hefner Salisbury VA Medical Center, 1601 Brenner Avenue, Salisbury, NC 28144, are seeking potential sources capable of providing Blood and Blood Products routinely, as soon as possible, and STAT as requested.
Vendor must provide Blood and Blood products to a level 1a and 1b VA Medical CenterÂ
Vendor may also serve as a reference lab, working up specimens that are beyond the scope of the Medical Center
Supplies must be FDA approved
At least three (3) routine scheduled delivery of blood products per week and the ability to order additional STAT blood products 24/7 in case of emergent situations
