Description
Fleet Logistics Center Puget Sound (FLCPS) intends to solicit for EPOXY SEAL COAT supplies: EPOXY SEAL COAT part number SC-100, EPOXY COATING KIT part number MS-200 RED (1 GL KIT), EPOXY COATING KIT part number MS-200 YELLOW, EPOXY COATING KIT part number MS-200 WHITE, EPOXY COATING KIT part number MS-200 DARK GRAY, EPOXY PRIMER COATING part number MS-8CZ HAZE GRAY 5GL KIT, and EPOXY PRIMER part number MS-8CZ BUFF 5GL KT.
This requirement is Brand Name Entity due to info on page 47 in NAVSEA Standard Item 009-32 states "Primer coat(s) shall be from the same manufacturer as the other coats in the system". SRF JRMC is using American Safety Technologies products for the other steps (other products be used) in the cleaning and painting process which requires us to use American Safety Technologies products. Therefore, the coat has to be from the same manufacturer. Interested companies may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement, which will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination not to compete this action based upon responses received to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
The Government will evaluate the offeror’s price for reasonableness and past performance as part of the responsibility determination in accordance with RFO 12.203.
