This is a Sources Sought Notice only. This notice is issued solely for information and planning purposes and does not constitute a solicitation. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is conducting market research to identify qualified vendors capable of providing 40‑foot High Cube metal storage containers that meet the minimum specifications described below.
The Government is seeking to determine the availability of small businesses, including SDVOSB and VOSB firms, as well as large businesses, capable of fulfilling this requirement. No contract will be awarded from this announcement. Responses will assist the VA in determining the appropriate acquisition strategy.
REQUIREMENT DESCRIPTION:The VA is seeking information from responsible vendors able to provide metal storage containers meeting the following minimum specifications:
• Containers shall be no less than 40 feet in length• Containers must be High Cube (9’6” external height)• Containers must include two (2) roll-up doors on the side• Each roll-up door shall be no less than 7 feet by 8 feet• Containers must be constructed of metal• Containers may be new or refurbished (serviceable condition)
Vendors should identify their ability to meet or exceed these specifications and outline any additional features offered.
RESPONSE CONTENT:Interested vendors shall submit the following information:
Company name, address, point of contact, and DUNS/UEI number
Business size status (Small Business, SDVOSB, VOSB, WOSB, 8(a), Large, etc.)
Confirmation of capability to provide containers meeting all required specifications
Statement on whether the vendor can provide delivery to a VA facility (delivery details will be provided in a future solicitation)
Estimated lead time and standard commercial warranty information
Any existing contract vehicles (e.g., GSA, BPA, IDIQ) under which the product is offered
