ACOUSTIC TILE INSTALLATION
STATEMENT OF WORK
1.0 BACKGROUND
The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD), and Weapons Control &
Integration Department (NSWCDD Code H), Weapon Control Systems Engineering (NSWCDD
Code H41) and Battle Management Systems (BMS) require services to perform a structural analysis
with optional installation services of acoustic tiles.
2.0 APPLICABLE DOCUMENTS
2.1 Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) Specifications
2.2 Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) Regulations
3.0 REQUIREMENTS
3.1 The Contractor shall perform a Professional Engineer (PE) stamped structural analysis to
ensure structural integrity of the area in to support additional weights of acoustic tiles (CDRL
A001).
3.2 The Contractor shall price the materials and the installation services as an optional item
under this Purchase Order.
*The Contractor shall not perform any services outside of the structural analysis and delivery of
data. If additional costs are identified during the structural analysis, the Contractor shall submit a
quote to the TPOC and Contracting Officer for approval and subsequent contract modification prior
to completing the installation.
**The Government reserves the right to modify this contract at a later date to cover the materials
and installation services.
3.3 Once the modification is provided to execute the procurement of materials and installation
services, the Contractor shall coordinate with the listed Technical Point of Contact (TPOC) to
facilitate pre-installation discussions to finalize planning for installation execution covering topics
such as infrastructure requirements, architectural reinforcement, and power requirements.
3.4 The Contractor shall provide a quantity of 1,155 each Wide Slant 2' x 2', Standard, Charcoal
Gray tiles, part number AUTT22SQWSTSMCHG, manufactured by Middle Atlantic, with all
miscellaneous cabling, connectors, hardware, and installation materials to install the acoustic tiles in
the designated space as determined in the pre-installation meeting:
3.5 The Contractor shall receive, inspect, resolve damage and/or shipping shortage issues prior
to the time of installation.
3.6 The Contractor shall test all equipment and functionality of the A/V and VTC systems that
had to be moved/unplugged during installation of the tiles to ensure functionality to manufacturer,
software, and source code specifications.

3.7 The Contractor shall complete any re-calibration required on equipment that had to be re-
installed during installation process.
3.8 The Contractor shall provide all necessary equipment and tooling for the installation of all
equipment.
3.9 The Contractor personnel shall wear personal protective equipment IAW OSHA regulations
throughout the project.
3.10 The Contractor shall protect Government property from damage or disfigurement.
3.11 The Contractor shall keep all supplies, equipment, and tools out of traffic lanes or other
areas where they might create a hazard and secure all equipment at the end of each working day.
3.12 The Contractor shall wipe down all installed equipment and ensure all debris generated from
the installation activities have been cleaned from the site.
3.13 The Contractor shall coordinate with the TPOC to perform all work to include a final work-
through ensuring installation and functionality meets the government’s requirements.
4.0 DATA DELIVERABLE
4.1 The Contractor shall provide data IAW CDRL A001.
5.0 SECURITY
The work to be performed under this contract is unclassified.
6.0 TRAVEL
The Contractor will be required to travel in performance of this contract. The number of trips and
types of personnel traveling shall be limited to the minimum required to accomplish work
requirements and shall be coordinated with the technical point of contact. All travel shall be
conducted in accordance with the Federal Travel Regulations (FTR). The following travel is
