Airfield Management Services
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as
supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation;
submissions are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.

(iii) Please see attached Pricing Schedule for a list of contract line item number(s) and items, quantities and units of
measure, (including option(s), if applicable).
(iv) Description of the Requirement:
The Contractor shall provide professional, safe, and effective Airfield Management Services (AFM) to the 14th Flying
Training Wing (14FTW), Columbus Air Force Base (CAFB), Mississippi and Gunshy Auxiliary Airfield, which is
approximately 40 miles away from the main base. A complete inspection of the airfield needs to be conducted daily to
include inspection of aircraft parking, airfield markings, general pavement and infrastructure, and the runway arresting
system. The Contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, materials, supervision and other items and services
necessary to perform all tasks and functions as defined in the PWS. The Contractor shall maintain, examine, and
inspect CAFB and Gunshy Auxiliary Airfield to guarantee military and civilian customers a safe operating enviroment.
The Contractor shall conduct Airfield support activities in strict complaince iwth United States (USAF) and Federal
Aviation Administration (FAA) standards mandating safety requirements for military operations. This requirement is
mission essential. Please see Attachment 1, PWS for full details. Funds are not presently available for this contract.
The Government’s obligation under this contract is contingent upon the availability of appropriated funds from which
payment for contract purposes can be made. No legal liability on the part of the Government for any payment may arise
until funds are made available to the Contracting Officer for this contract and until the Contractor receives notice of
such availability, to be confirmed in writing by the Contracting Officer.

terms and conditions of FAR 52.212-1 remain in effect.
(vii) FAR 52.212-2 Evaluation -- Commercial Items: this provision has been tailored to this procurement and is provided
via attachment to this Solicitation.
(viii) The clause at FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions – Commercial Items is hereby incorporated by
reference, with the same force and effect as if it were given in full text.
(ix) If any warranties are required beyond those customarily provided on a procurement of this nature, they will be
specifically mentioned in the Pricing Schedule located within the Attachments.
