Salient Characteristics Specification
1. Project Title: Security Camera and Recording Device Package
2. Project Location: 934th Forward Support Squadron

3. General Scope: The equipment requested is required for the Fitness Center’s 24-Hour Access program.
The current equipment is not in compliance with the NDAA- Section 889 and needs to be updated to
maintain security in the building. The upgrade is intended to enhance security, improve video quality,
support operational monitoring, and provide a compliant recording solution with sufficient retention.
The contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, materials, delivery and all other items necessary to
provide a fully functional video surveillance system with installation.
4. Detailed Requirements:
1. Qty 1 NVR - with the capability to record a minimum of 18 channels.
a. Minimum 4TB Hard drive.
b. Supports up to 30 days’ non-cloud-based storage capability.
2. Security system supports object and motion-detection recording functionality mode.
3. Qty 16 Security Cameras, dome style or similar.
a. Minimum resolution of 8MP.
4. Qty 1 Security Camera, dome style or similar.
a. A fixed lens up to 2.8 MM.
b. Shall be rated for outdoor use, IP65, IP66 or IP67.
5. Security Cameras shall support infrared night vision capability.
6. Cat5 ethernet cables for power over ethernet.
7. Contractor shall remove existing security monitor system and provide complete installation and
configuration for new security system.
8. Contractor shall configure all cameras to record upon motion detection.
9. Contractor shall verify proper recording functionality and camera operation to include system
startup, testing and final operational check.
10. Contractor shall properly dispose of any discarded equipment associated with the system
replacement.
11. Contractor shall provide initial training for four (4) designated Customer personnel on basic system
operation.
5. All materials shall be warranted to be in compliance with this statement of work and to the highest
standards of the industry. Minimum warranty of 1 year.
