Commercial Laundry Equipment Supply & Installation
Date: 27 MAY 2026
1.0 SCOPE OF WORK
The contractor shall provide all necessary equipment, materials, and labor for the supply and
installation of commercial-grade laundry equipment as detailed in this Statement of Work (SOW).
The equipment is for the Wright Care Child Development Center (CDC) and shall be installed
across two (2) separate laundry rooms within the facility.
2.0 MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
The contractor shall provide equipment that meets or exceeds the following technical
specifications. All equipment shall be new; refurbished or used equipment shall not be accepted.
2.1 Six (6) Stacked Washer-Dryer Units
• Type: Commercial-grade, stacked washer and electric dryer combination units.
• Color: Units shall be a manufacturer-standard white exterior to ensure aesthetic
consistency with the existing laundry facility.
• Dimensional Constraints (Critical):
– Width: Shall not exceed 27 inches.
– Height: Shall not exceed 79 inches.
– Depth: Shall not exceed 28 inches.
• Capacity:
– Washer: Minimum 3.5 cu. ft. capacity.
– Dryer: Minimum 7.0 cu. ft. capacity.
• Venting: Dryers shall be externally vented (exhausted to the outside).
• Required Features:
– Integrated steam cycle functionality.
– A sanitization cycle capable of eliminating common bacteria.
– Fast cycle time options for high-volume throughput.
• Installation Components: Shall include new stainless steel braided lines for all water
connections and appropriate heavy-duty venting ductwork to ensure durability and leak
prevention.

2.2 Two (2) Stand-Alone Dryer Units
• Type: Commercial-grade, front-loading, stand-alone electric dryers.
• Color: Units shall be a manufacturer-standard white exterior to ensure aesthetic
consistency with the existing laundry facility.
• Dimensional Constraints (Critical):
– Width: Shall not exceed 27 inches.
– Height: Shall not exceed 41 inches.
– Depth: Shall not exceed 28 inches.
• Capacity: Minimum 7.0 cu. ft. capacity.
• Venting: Shall be externally vented (exhausted to the outside).
• Required Features:
– Advanced steam-capable functions (e.g., Steam Refresh, Steam Boost, and Steam
Sanitize).
– Over-dry protection technology to prevent fabric damage.
– A sanitization cycle capable of eliminating common bacteria.
• ENERGY STAR® certification (or equivalent energy efficiency rating).
2.3 Ancillary Items and Services
• Power: Eight (8) new, compatible electric dryer power cords shall be provided.
• Warranty: A minimum five (5) year manufacturer's or seller's warranty on all parts and
labor for all provided equipment.
• Logistics: Delivery, assembly, and full professional installation of all eight (8) units in
their designated locations.
3.0 PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE
All work, including delivery, assembly, and turnkey installation, shall be completed no later than
four (4) weeks after contract award, with a final delivery and installation deadline no later
than 31 July 2026.
4.0 DELIVERY AND INSTALLATION LOCATIONS
The equipment shall be delivered and installed at the Wright Care CDC, located at:

5.0 PAYMENT TERMS
Payment terms are Net 30. Upon successful completion of installation and final acceptance by the
