Zuni Service Unit-Radiology Department Medrad Stellant CT Injection System STATEMENT OF WORK The purpose of this Statement of Work (SOW) is to acquire a Medrad Stellant Flex Overhead Counterpoise CT Injection System. The CT injector supports CT imaging services for primary, urgent and emergency patient care and must remain operational to support clinical services. Introduction: The Zuni Service Unit currently has a CT injector system that requires replacement due to the service life expiration. This equipment is classified as “end of life” and may not support the patient care demand of a 24/7 hospital. Background: The Zuni Service Unit (ZSU) CT scanner is used for all ordered CT scans requiring intravenous contrast. The injector provides high volume and pressure rate of contrast to patients through protocol requirements. Intravenous contrast is used to enhance the blood flow and anatomy/organ visuality. The Joint Commission has a mandated requirement that the CT scanner is fully operational 24/7. The CT injector system must be uninterrupted and dependable for the diagnosis and treatment for continued care of patients. No certification of immunization is required due to installers who will not interact with patients/customers. Vendor is required to cover liability insurance for their installation team. Installation team will be required to supply own tools to complete install, test and start up. Vendor will provide written reports of installation and functionality to the Radiology Department manager before leaving the Zuni Service Unit.
