Description
The U.S. Army TMDE Activity (USATA) has a requirement to implement a brand name purchase of one (1) Model 1056A-200 Ratemeter Digital and one (1) Model 897A-210, GM Detector Systems that will be used for customer support. These items shall be delivered to the Army Primary Standards Laboratory (APSL), Building 5435 Fowler Road, Redstone Arsenal, AL. 1.0 Requirements:
Model 1056A-200 Ratemeter Digital Geiger-Mueller (GM) Qty:1
• Range: 5 decades between 10^2 and 10^5 mR/h
• Energy response: 15 % from 80 keV to 1.5 MeV
• No external power needed at detector location
• Analog preamplifier integral with detector
• Ratemeters may be remotely located up to 2000 feet (using 50-100 cable or equivalent)
• Single cable between ratemeter and detector
• 8 µCi 36 Cl check source
• Life expectancy: up to 10^5 rads (for detector)
• Seismically tested with high reliability options available
• LCD graphical display showing radiation value
• Wallmount version rated IP65
Model 897A-210, Geiger-Mueller (GM) Detector Systems Qty:1
• For use with the 955A GM Area Monitor
