The Federal Bureau of Prisons is conducting market research in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation, Part 10.
A single solicitation to modernize four (4) passenger elevators and two (2) freight elevators at Dayton Manor (Staff
Housing).
The Government anticipates the issuance of a solicitation for the award of a firm-fixed-price construction contract for a
project titled Elevator Modernization – Dayton Manor (Staff Housing) for MDC Brooklyn located at 9325 Fort Hamilton
Parkway, Brooklyn, NY, 11209. The awarded contractor will provide all necessary labor, materials, equipment, tools, and
incidentals required to modernize four (4) passenger elevators and two (2) freight elevators at Dayton Manor (Staff
Housing). While this is Government property, the work will not be located in a correctional setting.
The project will require complete elevator modernization, replacing obsolete equipment with new systems that enhance
safety, reliability, energy efficiency, and compliance with NYC Building Code, ASME A17.1, and NYC Appendix K
requirements. The Statement of Work is attached for your review.
