Under no circumstances shall the U.S. Government be liable for this data, or shall it become the basis for a request to adjust the prices once the contract is awarded. Question(s) Answer(s) 1. Please confirm whether the requirement is for the supply and delivery of fabric materials only, or if stitching, tailoring, fabrication, or installation of curtains is also required. This RFQ is for the supply and delivery of fabric materials only. 2. Are fabric samples mandatory at the time of quotation submission, or will technical data sheets and product catalogs be sufficient for the initial evaluation? Offerors shall submit product literature, catalogs, technical data sheets, and/or fabric samples sufficient to demonstrate compliance with the RFQ requirements. Physical samples may be requested during the evaluation process if determined necessary by the Government. 3. Will equivalent commercial products that meet or exceed the minimum specifications be considered acceptable? Yes. 4. Is it acceptable to propose products from different manufacturers for the different fabric categories, provided all specifications are met? Yes. 5. Could you provide reference images of the required fabrics? No reference images will be provided. Could you please advise whether the required 30-day delivery schedule after PO receipt is fixed, or if alternative lead times may be considered for international manufacturing and shipment? The required delivery schedule of 30 calendar days after receipt of the Purchase Order is fixed. 7. Do all fabrics require NFPA 701 fire rating? Drapery: Fire rated: yes or no? Sheers: Fire rated: yes or no? Blackout: Fire rated: yes or no? No, fire rated is not required. 8. During the quotation evaluation phase, must offerors provide physical samples of all colors and patterns referenced in the solicitation, or only samples of the specific fabrics proposed in their quotation? If requested, offerors shall provide samples only for the specific fabrics proposed in their quotation. 9. At what stage must physical samples be delivered: with the quotation, during the evaluation process upon request, or after award? Physical samples are not mandatory with the initial quotation. The Government reserves the right to request samples during the evaluation process if necessary. 10. Will submitted samples be returned to the offeror after the evaluation is completed? Yes. Submitted samples will be returned if it is requested. 11. For each drapery, sheer, and blackout fabric CLIN, should the offeror propose one specific color and pattern in its quotation, or should the successful contractor provide multiple compliant options after award for the Government’s final selection? Offerors shall identify the specific color(s) and pattern(s) proposed for each CLIN as part of their quotation 12. Is there a preferred or required roll length, minimum roll length, maximum roll weight, or packaging configuration for delivery? No specific roll length or roll weight is required.
