Cannon AFB Under Vehicle Inspection System
1.0. GENERAL INFORMATION
1.1. PURPOSE: The contractor shall provide, install, integrate, and support a
performance-based Under-Vehicle Inspection System (UVIS) capable of
continuously inspecting the undercarriage of vehicles entering a controlled access
point. The system shall enhance security posture by providing high-resolution
imaging, automated anomaly detection, and real-time operator alerts. The contractor
shall deliver a fully functional, operationally ready system that meets all
performance requirements in this 3:6.
1.2 Scope of Work:
The contractor shall supply, install, test, and commission a complete UVIS
solution, including:
Underground/surface-mounted imaging units.
Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) and Driver Face Capture systems.
Video Management Software (VMS) with Artificial Intelligence (AI) for Foreign
Object Detection (FOD).
Supporting IT infrastructure (servers, workstations, networking).
2. Technical Specifications 뮂 뮂 뮀 뮁 뮃
The UVSS must meet the following minimum technical requirements to ensure mission
readiness in diverse operational environments.

rated IP68 (waterproof/dustproof) with rust-free stainless steel
or high-strength aluminum housing.

3. Software and Intelligent Analytics
3.1 Advanced Analytics:
Foreign Object Detection (FOD): The system must use AI/Machine Learning to
compare the current scan against a baseline image or a reference database to
highlight anomalies automatically.
Image Stitching: Real-time stitching of camera feeds into a single, seamless,
high-resolution composite image of the entire vehicle undercarriage.
3.2 Integration Requirements:
Integration: Automatically link the undercarriage scan to the vehicle’s license
plate.
Driver Image Capture: Capture and store high-definition images of the driver
and front passengers.
Access Control Interface: Provide APIs or dry-contact relays to integrate with
existing boom barriers, bollards, or tire killers (e.g., triggering a "NO-GO"
command if a threat is detected).
4. System Infrastructure
Processing Unit: Industrial-grade server with minimum i7 processor (or equivalent),
16GB RAM, and dedicated GPU for image processing.
Storage: Minimum 2TB SSD/HDD storage, capable of archiving 90 days of full video
and high-resolution images.
