What this opportunity is
The Department of Commerce, through NOAA, is seeking to secure land access to NMSAS Fagatele Bay, which is only accessible via privately held lands. This presolicitation notice indicates that the contract will be awarded on a sole source basis to a local landowner, classified as a large business under NAICS 115310. As there is no set-aside for small businesses, this opportunity may not suit small firms; however, interested parties can submit documentation to potentially influence the decision on competitive procurement. Note that this is a presolicitation, meaning tracking the opportunity is essential, but no bids are currently being accepted.
