The fiber fusion splicer capable of specialty fiber splicing specifically multi-core and hollow-core fibers. The splicer must be capable of repeatable and low loss splices of multicore and hollow core fibers. We also require a fiber cleaver that can cleave large core diameter fibers and hollow-core fibers at low angles and without damaging the delicate structure of the hollow-core fiber. Compact and portable machine without the need for a vacuum pump or gas for operation. Must generate high-resolution end view of both fibers simultaneously Must have fiber image magnification capability (both side view and end view magnification) Capability to control arc power and duration Support fibers with cladding diameter 80 to 800 μm (splicing) Rotational alignment resolution: 0.1° Must have color display screen on the machine Must have internal memory for saving splice programs and ability to store splice data Polarization maintaining fiber splice capability with 40 dB extinction ratio for PANDA fiber Include fiber holders for fiber coating diameters of 250,300,550 and 900 μm Include splicing and heating programs for multi-core and hollow-core fibers Include a hard carrying case and vibration pad Separately Priced Options and Services: Item 2: [List minimum specifications.
