This is announcement constitutes a Source Sought. This announcement seeks information from industry and will only be used for preliminary planning purposes. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION FOR BIDS AND NO CONTRACT SHALL BE AWARDED FROM THIS SOURCES SOUGHT. Respondents will not be notified of the results of the evaluation. The Jacksonville District of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is seeking interest from prospective offers for a potential fiscal year (FY) 2026 award of the aforementioned project. The purpose of this sources sought is to gauge interest, capabilities, and qualifications of various members of the Construction Community, to include Small Businesses, as the Government must ensure there is adequate competition amongst the potential pool of responsible contractors. The Jacksonville District anticipates the issuance of an Invitation for Bid (IFB). No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to said sources sought or any follow-up information requested. DESCRIPTION OF WORK: Project work includes maintenance dredging of Fort Pierce Harbor with excavated material being placed onto Fort Pierce Beach. Due to the extensive hardbottom areas located offshore of the fill area, offshore pipeline access to the beach site is prohibited. Offloading the beach fill will be done inside the South Jetty of Fort Pierce Inlet, as shown on the drawings. A staging area and beach access to the beach placement area are located at the end of Seaway Drive and near the south jetty pumpout location. Work also includes but is not limited to environmental and water quality monitoring, sea turtle trawl sweeping (hopper dredges only), screening, beach tilling, beach fill quality control, construction support, and vibration control and monitoring. Work will be divided into a base and two options. The Target Price Range is between $5,000,000.00 and $10,000,000.00. The project will have an estimated period of performance of 157 calendar days after receiving notice to proceed. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to this procurement is 237990, Dredging and Surface Cleanup Activities. The Small Business Size Standard for this project is $37.0 million. Anticipated solicitation issuance date is on or about 16 July 2026 and the anticipated response due date is on or about 17 August 2026. The Synopsis citing the solicitation number will be issued on the SAM Contracting Opportunities Website: at https://.sam.gov/. Responses to this Sources Sought shall be limited to 5 pages and shall include the following information:1. Company/Contractor name, address, point of contact, phone number and e-mail address.2. Company?s interest in submitting a proposal.3. Company?s capability to perform a contract of this magnitude and complexity (include company?s capability to execute comparable work performed within the past 10 years).
