Labor/Installation:  Labor is required for the installation of the turnstile. The contractor shall bolt the turnstile to a USCG-prepared concrete foundation and terminate connections using USCG-provided utility stub-ups (electrical and telecom). No concrete work, site preparation, or wire running is required from the contractor. SECTION C - DESCRIPTIONS/SPECIFICATIONS The Contractor shall provide and deliver the specified security turnstile and all associated accessories. The equipment must meet the following physical and performance specifications: Physical Specifications: 39" wide passage, full-height single turnstile constructed of 304 Stainless Steel. Weather & Environmental Performance: The turnstile and all components must be strictly rated for Southeast Alaska weather. Specifically, the system must be capable of operating continuously in sustained freezing temperatures. All electrical and mechanical components must be fully enclosed and impervious to water intrusion. Warranty: Standard commercial warranty (minimum 1-year from date of delivery against defects in materials and workmanship). Training: No training is required. Deliverables: The contractor must provide all applicable manufacturer technical publications and maintenance manuals to the USCG upon delivery or installation. SECTION D – PACKAGING AND MARKING Standard commercial packaging applies. However, the Contractor is responsible for all shipping and packaging logistics to ensure the materials arrive securely and without visible or concealed shipping damage, specifically accounting for the rigors of freight transit to Alaska. Inspection method:  USCG personnel will observe the installation process. Final acceptance will be based on a visual inspection of the hardware (free of damage), verification of the exact items delivered against the Schedule of Supplies, and a successful functional demonstration of the turnstile operating with the provided utilities. Acceptance criteria: Verification that all delivered items match the Schedule of Supplies exactly, meet the weather-resistance parameters, and are free of any shipping damage or installation defects.
