GAS CONVECTION COMBINATION OVENS

HASKELL INDIAN NATIONS UNIVERSITY Gas Convection Oven Specifications 27 May 26 Haskell Indian Nations University, located in Lawrence, Kansas, is seeking to acquire a gas convection oven for its Facilities Management Department. The oven must include the specified options listed below to meet the university’s operational needs. The contractor is responsible for supplying two (2) new gas convection ovens and providing necessary training services. The ovens must be equipped with the following features, options, and accessories. SPECIFICATIONS: Gas Convection Oven shall meet or exceed a Vulcan VC66GD Series, Double Deck, Deep Depth Gas Convection Oven. Contractor shall provide a New, Gas convection oven with these options/features/accessories: Stainless steel front sides, top and legs. Independently operated stainless steel doors with double pane windows. 50,000 BTU/hr. burner per section. 100,000 BTU/hr. total input. Electronic spark igniters ½ H.P. two speed oven blower motor. 120/60/1 with 6’ cord and plug. 7.7 amps per section. 15.4 amps total draw Oven cool switch for rapid cool down. 60-minute timer with audible alarm Porcelain enamel on steel oven interiors. Five nickel plated oven racks with eleven rack positions per section ¾” rear gas connection (flexible) with combination gas pressure regulator and safety solenoid system. 2 year extended limited parts and labor warranty. Casters Stainless steel rear enclosure. Stainless steel drip pans Non sag insulation applied to top, rear, sides, bottom and doors. Two interior oven lights per section Down draft flue diverter for direct vent connection INSTALLATION: Installation of the new ovens will include: Gas Lines (There are existing gas lines, the contractor will tie into those to connect these ovens). Water Lines (for the Steam) (There are existing water lines (for steam), the contractor will tie into those) Electrical cords, plugs Exhaust line (There is an existing hood exhaust the contractor will tie in to). DELIVERY INFORMATION: Haskell Indian Nations University, Facilities Management, 155 Indian Ave., Lawrence Kansas 66046 There is a delivery ramp at the rear of the building, as well as a loading dock. REMOVAL: Contractor will be responsible for removing the old/current ovens. Contractor will dispose of the old/current ovens properly. TRAINING on the proper use of the new ovens will be provided by the contractor.
