Introduction/Background The First Coast Guard District does not have an adequate workout facility at the John Foster Williams building to host over 80 Active-Duty members, Although Coast Guard Base Boston currently has an operating fitness facility servicing the Boston units but due to its location a 45-minute round trip puts members at a hindrance for a time away from work. To afford members the chance to maintain physical well-being and meet USCG Weight and Body Fat Standards as per COMDTINST M1020.8(series) and at no cost to them, The Fitness facility which must have a reasonable walking distance of 0.8 miles or less from the district building located at 408 Atlantic Ave, Boston, MA 02110 and provide 80 memberships both prime time and non-prime time. These memberships will allow permanently assigned members access to a fitness facility to provide a great number and variety of exercise options. Vendor is required to register in IPP, to receive payment. 2. Scope of Work The contractor shall provide 80 memberships to Fitness facility to assigned personnel at Coast Guard District One John Foster Williams Building to maintain physical well-being and meet USCG Weight and Body Fat Standards. These are to include a variety of different training options such as: • Dedicated studios for Group Fitness, indoor cycling and team TRAINING • Free weights ranging in weights from 2.5 to 110 pounds • Bench presses, power racks with Olympic lifting platforms, bumper plates, smith rack and cable machines • Turf training area with Kettle bells, TRX, battle ropes, prowler sled, weight vests, heavy bag, speedbags, plyo boxes, hurdles, ladders, slam balls, etc. for advanced athletic and functional training. • Ample Internet enabled cardio equipment including treadmills, climb mills, ascent trainers, ellipticals, upright bikes, recumbent bikes, steppers, and Arc Trainers, all of which allow members to track their workouts and watch content on embedded TVs. 3. Administrative AND SAFETY Requirements All administrative and safety matters will be addressed by staff of any safety related issues they observe or encounter. Period of Performance The period of performance for this contract is from June 1st, 2026, through May 31th, 2027, with a monthly payment made in arrears using a Purchase Order through IPP. MISCELLANEOUS Coast Guard D1 will not be liable for any miscellaneous charges, such as damaged incurred by individuals. The Coast Guard D1 is only responsible for payment and Members will be able to store a credit card on file to enable easy payment for additional services or products they would like to purchase beyond the scope of the contract.
