Description

THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY: This announcement seeks information from industry to assist with market research and preliminary planning for the procurement described. This is not a solicitation for proposals. No contract will be awarded from this notice. No proposals are being requested or accepted with this notice. The purpose of this notice is to gain knowledge of interest, capabilities, and qualifications of various members of industry, who have the capability to provide Description of the services needed: The Richard L Roudbush VA Medical center (RLRVMC), Indianapolis has a requirement to test, balance, adjust, and certify the air flow and pressures in certain rooms and areas identified as Pressure Critical Areas . This work shall be completed by a National Environmental Balancing Bureau (NEBB) contractor whose primary business is to test, adjust and balance(TAB) airflows and pressures produced by HVAC systems. RLRVAMC is a one million + square foot medical facility providing both inpatient and outpatient care and services. The facility has 138 Pressure critical rooms, areas, and laboratories. The TAB contractor shall provide all materials, equipment, calibration and measuring instruments, required software, NEBB certified labor and supervision to perform testing, adjusting and balancing of airflows and pressures in 138 critical pressure rooms and spaces. The rooms and/or areas shall be controlled, monitored, and/or air volumes set to maintain the required direction of airflow and required air changes per hour. Room dimensions shall be physically verified, air volumes measured, airflow directions verified while performing the TAB for each defined room or area. NEBB certified reports shall be provided timely upon completion.
