Page 1 of 58 STATEMENT OF WORK SECTION C – DESCRIPTION/SPECIFICATION/WORK STATEMENT C.1 BACKGROUND The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD) Weapon Control and Integration Department (H), Unmanned & Expeditionary Weapon Systems Division (H40) has a requirement for a contractor to provide system engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, computer hardware and software engineering, software development, design and technical engineering, configuration management, mechanical and electrical engineering technician services, field service support, project management and project management support functions, and technical writing services to support the H40 Division. The systems supported include combat management systems for air, surface, and ground applications. The current specific systems include systems in the Battle Management System (BMS) portfolio, supporting such platforms as Armada, Armed Overwatch, Combatant Craft Medium (CCM), Denied Area Sprinter - Hellfire (DASH), Expeditionary Launcher Module (ELM), Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS), Killchain Automation, Littoral Combat Ship Surface to Surface Missile Module (LCS SSMM), Precision Strike Package Precision Guided Weapon (PSP PGW), Precision Strike Package Gun Weapon System (PSP GWS), Rapid Dragon, Rotorcraft, Standoff Precision Guided Munition Development (SOPGM Dev), Surrogate, Swarm Carrier, and Tactical Visualization. BMS Sponsorship consists of Special Operations Command (SOCOM), Department of the Air Force, Air Force Special Operations Command, Department of the Navy, Naval Special Warfare PMS 340, United States Marine Corps, Tactical Airlift Program Office (PMA-207), and the United States Army. C.2 SCOPE The Contractor shall support all technical and engineering stages of development, test, integration, and fielding of safe and innovative weapon control systems, detection systems support, advanced weapon systems support, autonomous system support, mechanical and electrical technician support towards assembly and integration. Other duties indirectly supporting these efforts include providing business operational and financial reporting support, writing technical documentation, maintaining technical databases, and editorial support of technical publications. The services necessary to accomplish the tasks within this Statement of Work (SOW) are defined in Section C.2.1 Applicable Documents The following documents are applicable to this SOW. The most current versions of these documents are accessible through the internet or will be provided to the Contractor upon request.
