Requirements / Specification Document 1 TITLE: High-Frequency Oscilloscope Requesting Laboratory / Division / Group: Communications Technology Laboratory Spectrum Technology and Research Division Shared Spectrum Metrology Group (675.03) General Statement of Need: The Shared Spectrum Metrology (SSM) group is looking to procure a high sampling rate, wide bandwidth oscilloscope to conduct time-domain measurement of LTE and 5G signals. Item Specifications and Quantities: Item 1: High-Frequency Oscilloscope Quantity: 1 EACH Specifications: 1.1 Minimum sample rate of 12.0 GS/s per channel for the minimum of two channels. 1.2 Minimum frequency range of DC to 6 GHz, but not to exceed 8 GHz. 1.3 RMS noise floor shall not exceed 350 uV at 2 mV/div. 1.4 Dynamic range in excess of 106 dB. The dynamic range is defined as the ratio between the largest and the smallest measurable values of the signal voltage. 1.5 Memory depth in excess of 200 Mpoints at 12.0 GS/s. 1.6 Display screen on the front-panel user interface. 1.7 Powered by 120V-60Hz single phase AC. Maximum: 15 Amps. 1.8 Have capability to be automated using SCPI commands via USB and/or Ethernet ports. 1.9 Only new equipment that is still in production and supported by the manufacturer shall be offered.
