The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), Center for Biologics Evaluation and Research
(CBER) / Office of Vaccines Research and Review (OVRR), requires the acquisition of a Hypoxic
Chamber Replacement Shell for an existing chamber.

Background:
The FDA/CBER/OVRR, currently has a Coy Lab Products 2 person O2 Control Glove Box
Hypoxic Chamber model 8375065 of which the outer shell is cracking which allows room air to
enter the chamber. The chamber is used for culturing bacteria in very low oxygen environment.
Any air leaks can expose the bacteria to excess oxygen resulting in cell death and ruining the
experiment.

• Replacement shell for Model 8375065 Hypoxic Chamber
• Base two-person (4 port) Glove Box with controlled temperature, pressure, O2, CO2, and
humidity
o Internal workspace - 59" L x 23" D x 23" H
• Airlock for transferring samples and supplies into the glove box without altering the internal
environment
• Digital controls for Airlock and Glove Box Temperature and Humidity
• Anaerobic Kit for Hypoxic Glove Boxes
