Background INL Guatemala provides targeted support to improve the operational capabilities of the Guatemala Customs Agency (SAT), thereby improving effectiveness of customs controls at Guatemala's official entry points. This support includes the establishment of twelve strategically placed interagency highway checkpoints throughout Guatemala. INL Guatemala also supports SAT efforts to better manage its land border entries, including investments in infrastructure and technology. INL Guatemala is now in the process of setting up a Border Command Center (BCC) in Guatemala City and aims to create a technological platform to target and analyze passengers and cargo transiting INL checkpoints and all official POEs. 1.2. SAT will provide a training room. Personnel: 10 employees Hours of training: To be confirmed by contractor depending on manufacturer guidance and certifications. Time Frame: Mondays to Fridays from 9am to 4 pm.
