1 INTRODUCTION
1.1 Purpose
The objective of this effort is to award a single contract to provide 30 units of the Interface
Enclosure Assemblies.
1.2 Scope
This Statement of Work (SOW) defines contractor tasks and requirements for management,
manufacturing, and delivery of the VDATS Interface Enclosure Assembly. A technical data
package with drawings and models for each item has been developed and contains the individual
specifications for each subassembly. The requirement is to build each of these items per the
supplied engineering drawings.
1.3 Background
The Versatile Diagnostic Automatic Test Station (VDATS) Automatic Test Station (ATS)
supports the testing of aircraft line replaceable units (LRU)s and Shop Replaceable Unit (SRU)s
for most of the warfighter capability in the Air Force. The 76th Software Engineering Group (76
SWEG)/556 Software Engineering Squadron (556 SWES) engineers and maintains Test Program
Sets (TPS). The 556 SWES requires Enclosure Assemblies used to manufacture Interface Test
Adapters (ITAs). The Enclosure Assemblies are used to manufacture Interface Test Adapters
(ITAs). The enclosure assemblies are essentially a passthrough from the VDATS ATS to the
UUT.
2 SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS
2.1 Program and Engineering Management
All contractor tasks and requirements covered by this document shall be coordinated with
the 556 SWES VDATS team. Overall responsibility and approval of any changes to the
contract or attachments resides with the Procuring Contracting Officer (PCO). If technical
changes are required, they shall be communicated to the PCO, and updated documents
will be provided in order to modify the contract for inclusion.
2.2 Contract Management
Sub Overall responsibility and approval reside with the PCO. No conversation,
recommendation, or direction, whether given directly or implied by Government
personnel or representatives, that will affect the scope, schedule, or price of the program
covered by this SOW, shall be acted upon by the contractor unless specifically directed in
writing by the PCO.

2.2.1 If problems (typos, discrepancies, obsolescence, etc.) with the Production Level
Technical Data Package are found during the manufacturing process, the vendor
shall promptly report the problems to 556 SWES VDATS Team and the PCO.
Alternate components and processes will be considered but must be approved in
writing by the 556 SWES VDATS Team in coordination with the contracting
office and incorporated by modification to the contract.
3 GOVERNMENT FURNISHED EQUIPMENT/INFORMATION
3.1 Government Furnished Equipment
There will be no Government Furnished Equipment associated with this contract.
3.2 Government Furnished Information
All drawings are distribution statement D, which require distribution to only authorized
Department of War and U.S. DoW contractors. Upon proof of DoW contractor
certification, access to the Production Level Technical Data Package/Drawings will be
provided to the contractor. The following documents/drawings will be provided in the
Technical Data Package:
