Description
1 Scope
This is a non-personal services contract to provide electrical power distribution and data cabling installation services for the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) Greensboro location at 4905 Koger Boulevard, Greensboro NC 27407. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, supervision, materials, tools, equipment, testing devices, transportation, and documentation necessary to complete the installation of overhead power distribution for approximately forty (40) workstation locations and Ethernet cabling for designated workstation areas.
The work includes installing ten (10) ceiling-mounted power poles; providing and installing new branch circuits to support each power pole; disconnecting, reconfiguring, and integrating approximately twenty-five (25) existing furniture power whips; performing panel modifications, circuit organization, additions, and phase balancing; terminating circuits at each power pole; labeling and testing installed circuits; and verifying proper operation at each workstation location.
The Contractor shall also install, terminate, label, and test designated Ethernet cabling, outlets, faceplates, RJ45 jacks, patch cables, patch panels, network racks, and horizontal wire managers. All work shall comply with applicable electrical codes, facility requirements, manufacturer instructions, and Government-approved installation locations.1.1 Description of Services/IntroductionThe Contractor shall provide electrical and data cabling installation services to support IRS Greensboro workstation areas. The Contractor shall install overhead electrical power distribution, ceiling-mounted power poles, branch circuits, and related components necessary to provide power to designated workstation locations. The Contractor shall also disconnect, reconfigure, and integrate existing furniture power whips with the new power distribution system.
The Contractor shall install, terminate, label, and test designated Ethernet cabling and associated data components, including faceplates, RJ45 jacks, patch cables, patch panels, network racks, and horizontal wire managers. The completed installation shall provide tested, labeled, and operational electrical and data connectivity at the Government-designated workstation locations.
1.2 Background
The IRS Greensboro location requires additional electrical power distribution and data connectivity to support designated workstation areas. Existing workstation furniture includes power whips that must be disconnected, reconfigured, and integrated with new overhead power distribution. The project will add ceiling-mounted power poles, branch circuits, and related electrical components to provide power to approximately forty (40) workstation locations.
The requirement also includes Ethernet cabling installation for designated workstation locations, including Rooms 3-026 and 3-305D. The completed work will improve workstation readiness by providing tested, labeled, and operational electrical and data connections in support of IRS mission operations.

3 Requirements
The Contractor shall furnish all labor, supervision, materials, tools, equipment, and testing necessary to complete the electrical power distribution and data cabling installation described below. Requirements shall be performed using clear, priceable tasks consistent with the IRS SOW template guidance.
3.1 Electrical Power Distribution InstallationThe Contractor shall:
a. Install overhead power distribution to serve approximately forty (40) workstation locations.
b. Install ten (10) ceiling-mounted power poles to serve designated workstation areas.
c. Provide and install new branch circuits to support each ceiling-mounted power pole location.
d. Disconnect and reconfigure approximately twenty-five (25) existing furniture power whips.
e. Terminate circuits at each ceiling-mounted power pole and integrate the circuits with the workstation power system.
f. Perform panel modifications, including circuit organization, circuit additions, and phase balancing.
g. Identify and label all installed and modified circuits.
h. Test all installed and modified circuits.
i. Verify proper electrical operation at each workstation location.
j. Correct deficiencies identified during testing or Government inspection.
3.2 Data Cabling InstallationThe Contractor shall install Ethernet cabling for the following locations:

The Contractor shall provide and install:
a. Shielded Category 6e Ethernet cabling for each data drop.
b. One (1) faceplate per data drop.
c. One (1) Category 6+ RJ45 female jack per data drop.
d. Two (2) Category 6 patch cables, five (5) feet in length, per data drop.
e. Four-post network racks, quantities to be identified by the Government before installation.
f. Forty-eight-port Category 6e patch panels.
g. Horizontal wire managers.
h. Termination of each data drop at the local workspace and designated patch panel.
i. Labeling of all data cables, faceplates, jacks, and patch panel ports.
j. Certified cable testing for each installed data cable.
k. Certified test printouts for each installed data cable.
3.3 Testing, Labeling, and VerificationThe Contractor shall test, label, and verify all installed electrical circuits and data cabling before requesting final acceptance. The Contractor shall provide test results and correct failed or deficient installations at no additional cost to the Government.
3.4 Cleanup and RestorationThe Contractor shall remove debris, packaging, unused materials, and equipment from the work areas. The Contractor shall restore disturbed ceiling tiles, walls, furniture components, access panels, and work areas affected by Contractor performance.
