An Intertuf 264 epoxy anticorrosive scheme with an Interspeed 6400NA controlled depletion polymer antifouling system.
Surface Preparations
Hard scrape/slice to remove all fouling and loose paint
Close high pressure fresh water wash at 3,000 psi (207 bar) using a fan jet lance holding the tip 150mm from and perpendicular to the surface overlapping each pass 30% removing all dirt, dust salt,
partially hydrolised antifouling layer and other surface contamination.
Full blast to ISO 8501-1 Sa2 or SSPC-SP6.
Remove all dust and surface contamination. Ensure all surfaces are clean, dry and free of contamination prior to the application of each coat of the specified paint system. Apply the first coat of the
specified paint system before there is a risk of loss of surface preparation and cleanliness standards.
