Description

STATEMENT OF WORK Delivery//Installation/Removal & Disposal JBSA FORT SAM HOUSTON (FSH) NAVY FURNITURE BLDG 1475 and 1479 PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Procure for buildings 1475 and 1479: Lift Beds (786), Bunkable Beds (357), Wardrobes (438) and Bed Stacking Kits (357), for Joint Base San Antonio US Navy dormitories. The contractor shall ensure the furniture is properly delivered based on industry standards. Contractor shall deliver to the addressed location shown below, which is located within a secured military installation. The Contractor shall Deliver/Install/Remove furniture in accordance with breakout below. The contractor shall install 1 (one) lift bed as a standalone bed and stack 1 (one) lift bed with 1 (one) bunkable bed to make a bunkable unit in each dorm room as required by the Government. The bunkable units shall not compromise the size of mattress required for either top or bottom bed. Contractor shall confirm delivery with Government points of contact 15-days prior to delivery. Coordination shall be made with the below noted Technical Representatives (TRs). Contractor shall ensure that the installation of any room is complete before the end of the work day. It is pertinent to ensure rooms are made available back for government use since these facilities are occupied. The intent is to minimize disruption to the personnel’s living space. Contractor shall transport, deliver, unload and install all new furniture at buildings 1475 and 1479. Final delivery of items will be determined by the Government point of contact and coordinate with awardee; Contractor shall be prepared to delivery, install and remove furniture for both building. Contractor shall remove 499 exiting/old captain beds that are currently in place in both buildings and transport the old captain beds to the contractor provided/supplied dumpster. The contractor is responsible for providing any roll-off dumpsters required and responsible for removing as necessary to complete this project; the Government will not provide nor supply any dumpsters or Government sites for this project. The Contractor shall not dispose of or discard recyclables, packing materials or trash in any recycling or trash containers or dumpsters located on the installation; except for the contractor owned containers or dumpsters. The Contractor shall collect all trash, debris, refuse, garbage, etc., generated in performance of entire process and remove and properly dispose items off-site daily. The contractor shall follow all Local, State, and Federal regulations for the disposal of items. CLEAN-UP. All trash, debris, refuse, garbage and rubbish resulting from this requirement shall be disposed of by the contractor off Government property. The Government will designate a location for the contractor’s dumpster (as provided by the contractor), if necessary. Disposal will be in compliance with all applicable Federal, State, and local hauling and disposal regulations. Site clean-up shall occur daily. Contractor shall clean-up work site at the end of each working day. The contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, materials, tools, etc. to ensure proper removal and disposal of existing/old furniture and removal of debris, refuse, and garbage before and during the delivery of the dorm furniture. Government will not provide any warehouse space for the contractor to store their product. GOVNERNMENT POINTS OF CONTACT: The Technical Representative (TR) for this project are  Ms. Charlene Holbrook at (210)-221- 2381, email charlene.holbrook.2@us.af.mil &  Mr. Ronny Vardaman at (210)-221-5309, email ronny.vardaman@mail.mil Vendor shall provide the Technical Representatives (TR) an email notification of the truck’s arrival schedule as soon as the information is made available. A minimum of at least a 24-hour email reminder prior to truck’s scheduled arrival time shall also be sent to TR Representatives. The Contractor shall ensure proper coordination is made with the TRs prior to sending any deliveries. This coordination will be crucial to the removal and installation of all items. Dimensions: +1 (one) inch on dimensions variance acceptable; a decrease in variance is not  Length 86.25"  Width 38.5"  Height 37" Fabrication & Material  Cut, formed, welded steel, Powder coated steel.
