Description
Specifications: Procurement of Hanging KVM Mount Brackets
1. Project Objective
The objective of this procurement is the fabrication and delivery of 800 hanging KVM mount brackets as per the provided engineering diagrams. The diagrams show tapped holes for attaching brackets using screws, shapes cut into the bracket in various locations to support Velcro straps as needed, and knurled screw clamps to attach the mount to a desk utilizing the L brackets. (Reference: C2.1 Attachment (4)_KVMMount_Knurledscrewclamp). These brackets are intended to support KVM hardware in a suspended configuration.
2. Scope of Work
The contractor shall be responsible for the sourcing of materials, fabrication, finishing, and delivery of the KVM mounts. The scope includes:
Material Procurement: Sourcing all raw materials specified in the technical drawings.
Fabrication: Cutting, bending, and drilling of brackets according to the specified tolerances.
Finishing: Application of surface treatments to prevent corrosion and ensure durability.
Quality Assurance: Inspection of all parts to ensure compliance with the engineering diagram.
Delivery: Packaging and transporting the finished goods to the following address:

3. Technical Specifications
(Note: The contractor must refer to the attached engineering diagram " C2.1 Attachment (2)_Brackets Drawings" & “C2.1 Attachment (3)_Brackets CAD.dwg” for exact dimensions. Key requirements include:)
Material: .080” thick Aluminum 6061-T6 for main piece, .035” thick Aluminum 6061-T6 for KVM support brackets and 3/16” Aluminum 6061-T6 for L brackets.
Dimensions: 20” x 14.5”, refer to provided diagram for dimensions and measurements for all requested features of bracket.
Tolerances: Standard fabrication tolerances of [e.g., +/- 0.010"] unless otherwise specified on the drawing.
Finish: Black Powder Coat.
Hardware: Knurled screw clamp with rubber stops on the end that will clamp to bottom of desk and screws for attaching L brackets and KVM support brackets. L brackets should have rubber pad attached to not damage desktop finish.
4. Deliverables
The contractor shall provide the following:
Completed Brackets: 800 units of the hanging KVM mount, inclusive of a initial test article (mount) for Government approval before producing the rest of the units.
Quality Certification: A Certificate of Conformance (CoC) stating that the parts meet the specifications of the engineering diagram.
Packing List: Detailed inventory of the shipment.
5. Inspection and Acceptance
Upon receipt, the government will inspect the brackets, inclusive of first article, for:
Dimensional accuracy against the engineering diagram.
Quality of the surface finish (absence of scratches, bubbles, or uneven coating).
Correct quantity. Any parts found to be non-compliant with the provided diagrams will be rejected and must be replaced by the contractor at no additional cost.
