STATEMENT OF WORK
1. Objective/Requirements
The objective of this requirement is to obtain a critical annual service plan for the
existing Bruker Autoflex Max MALDI-TOF/TOF Mass Spectrometer to ensure
continuous, reliable operation in support of mission-critical analytical work. The service
is required to maintain instrument performance, calibration integrity, and operational
readiness for ongoing support of mission-related activities.
2. Characteristics, Scope, and Specs
The contractor shall perform the following duties:
• The vendor will acknowledge the order and coordinate scheduling of service with the
laboratory.
• A field engineer will be dispatched, typically within approximately four weeks,
depending on the company’s scheduling.
• On-site service will be performed on the Mass Spectrometer, including preventive
maintenance, calibration verification, diagnostic testing, and any necessary system
adjustments to ensure compliance with manufacturer specifications.
• A formal service report will be issued documenting the instrument’s condition and all
maintenance actions performed.

4. Period of Performance
Service shall be scheduled within days after the PO purchase has completed, and the
actual service should be done typically within 4 weeks. The service contract will then be
active for a one-year period beginning upon completion of the purchase order, during
