Statement of Work GENERAL SPECIFICATIONS: Venue rental for Norfolk Naval Shipyard 2026-2030 Apprenticeship Graduation and Awards Ceremony. PERIOD OF PERFORMACE Years 2026-2030: Any weekday (monday-friday) between September 01 through December 05. STATEMENT OF WORK • Total attendance can range between 1200 to 1400 people (stadium seating only and no outdoor facilities). • Facility shall be available for the Government’s use during the hours of 09:00 AM to 9:30 PM • A separate room shall be provided for a pre- and post-ceremony reception to accommodate a minimum of 15 personnel. Refreshments are the responsibility of the Government. • A separate area shall be provided for graduate gown check-out/check-in. • Venue shall provide a podium, microphone and an American Flag to be used during the ceremony. • Venue shall provide three (3) tables for placement of awards and certificates. • Venue shall provide an adequate area for a local high school band to set up and perform before and after ceremony. • Ceremony time 6:00 PM till 9:00 PM • Rehearsal 09:00 AM Date TBD • The venue shall provide dressing room for Apprentice staff. • The venue should provide adequate stage lighting allowing a clear view of all personnel on stage. • The venue should provide VIP parking spaces for 15 guests. • The venue should provide 5 radios (walkie talkies) for apprentice staff. • Venue staff is to collect tickets along with NNSY volunteers within the first two hours of doors opening to venue Quote price shall include the above-mentioned items as well as the following: • Clean-up • Security (6-armed police officers, one metal walk thru metal detector and one wand and baggage checker located at all entries into venue) • Production –technical support for lighting and sound from beginning to the end of venue • House equipment – lights, sound, tables and portable communication devices. • Prior to the event a bomb sensing K-9 unit will conduct an initial sweep of the building two hours prior to event commencement. -- 1 of 1 --
