Description

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Walla Walla District, is issuing this special notice to inform industry of the intent to solicit and negotiate solely with the Garfield County, Sheriff’s Office for Law Enforcement Services. This procurement is being conducted under Simplified Acquisition Procedures, only one source is reasonable available. The Corps has proprietary jurisdiction within federal regulations over all Corps of Engineers administered lands and waters, and the Garfield County Sheriff Department has jurisdiction to enforce all state and local laws that exist. This requirement is to provide services for Law Enforcement Patrol at Garfield County, WA. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this requirement is 561612, Security Guards and Patrol Services. This notice of intent is not a formal solicitation or request for competitive proposals. No solicitation document is available and telephone requests will not be honored. No award will be made on the basis of quotations or offers received in response to this notice. Interested parties may identify their interest and capabilities in writing to Mary.L.Seiner@usace.army.mil no later than 11:00 AM Pacific Time on June 19, 2026. Any response to this notice must show clear, compelling, and convincing evidence that competition will be advantageous to the Government. The intent of this synopsis is for informational purposes only. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement for future requirements.
