Notice of Intent to Sole Source - Tektronix MSO24 Oscilloscopes (Brand Name)

(i) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial products prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) The solicitation number is F1S0AY6202A006 and is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). (iii) The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the most recent Federal Acquisition Circular and RFO updates. (iv) The Department of the Air Force, Air Force Test Center (AFTC/PZZF) at Edwards Air Force Base intends to award a sole-source, firm-fixed-price contract to Tevet LLC (an SBA-certified Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business) under the statutory authority for sole-source awards to SDVOSBs. (v) Contract Line Item Numbers (CLINs) and Description of Requirements: CLIN 0001: MSO24 2-BW-500 - Mixed Signal Oscilloscope Description: 4 Analog Channels, 10M record length, 500MHz Bandwidth, with Certificate of Traceable Calibration Standard. Quantity: 4 Each CLIN 0002: 2-SOURCE - License Description: Arbitrary Function Generator (AFG) and Digital Pattern Generator (DPG), Node Locked. Quantity: 4 Each CLIN 0003: 2-PC - Protective Case Description: Protective case for use with 2 Series Oscilloscopes. Quantity: 4 Each CLIN 0004: 2-HC - Hard Carrying Case Description: Hard carrying case for 2 Series Oscilloscopes. Quantity: 4 Each CLIN 0005: 2-BATPK - Battery Pack Description: Add-on Battery Pack with 2 battery slots and 1 battery. Quantity: 4 Each CLIN 0006: P6139B - Passive Probe Description: 500 MHz, 10X, BNC. Quantity: 4 Each CLIN 0007: P5200A - High Voltage Probe Description: 50 MHz, 50X/500X, 1.3 kV, Differential, BNC. Quantity: 4 Each (vi) Description of Requirement: This acquisition requires the specific Brand-Name Tektronix equipment to ensure strict compatibility with existing test procedures and equipment supporting the BOMBER DATA LAB project. The approved Brand-Name Justification is attached to this notice. (vii) Delivery Information: Delivery and acceptance will be FOB Destination. All items are required to be delivered 40 days AOR (viii) Important Notice to Interested Parties: This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes; however, any responsible firm that believes it can meet the requirement and is a certified SDVOSB authorized to distribute the required Tektronix brand-name equipment may submit a capability statement or quotation. All responses received by the closing date of this notice will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
