The project’s primary goal is to ensure return to office workspace is safe, secure, and professional while ensuring access to USDA Rural Development stakeholders in Van Buren County and the surrounding counties in southwestern Michigan.  The funds requested will be allocated to: Provide a safer working environment for staff. Provide additional space for USDA RD to house staff. Provide a professional environment for customers, applicants, and staff. 2.0 Background Paw Paw office was vacant until the return-to-work mandate. When staff returned, extra cubicles were gathered from other area offices and unprofessionally constructed. This makeshift office set up is not safe, is not matching, and appears unprofessional. It also does not utilize the space properly. Contractor Requirements 3.0 Technical Requirements / Tasks The SOW includes full office furniture installation. See attachments for space measurements and approximate furniture and workstation locations. •           Customer reception area at the entrance with regular and accessible height countertop and lockable door to secure the employee working area. Seating for 3 customers. •           5 cubicle workstations with adjustable height desk, and under desk storage. •           One workstation with adjustable height desk and under desk storage in the smaller office (Office 2). Two additional office chairs with small table. •           Two workstations with adjustable height desks and under desk storage in the larger office (Office 1). Two additional office chairs. •           Create one conference area with higher cubicle walls and door. Include a small conference table with seating for 6. •           Create one office area with higher cubicle walls and door with adjustable height desk, under desk storage •           Existing data lines and electricity run to each workstation. •           Transport 4 large fireproof filing cabinets from a location in Grand Rapids (3200 Eagle Park Dr., Suite 100B, Grand Rapids, MI 49525) to the Paw Paw office.
