Requirement The US FDA, Center for Biologics Evaluation and Research (CBER), Office of Compliance and Biologics Quality (OCBQ), Division of Biological Standards and Quality Control (DBSQC), Laboratory of Analytical Chemistry (LAC) has a requirement for a comprehensive preventive maintenance and unlimited repair agreement for a base plus four (4) option years for an Analytik-Jena TOC Nitrogen Analyzer which is made up of the following modules: 1) Base Unit: Analytik-Jena multi N/C 2100S Total Organic Carbon (TOC) and Total Bound Nitrogen (TNb) Analyzer 2) Accessory Module: Solid/Liquid Autosampler and Carrier Gas Conditioning Module for the Analytik-Jena multi N/C system 3) Detection System: Integrated Chemiluminescence Detector (CLD) module for high- sensitivity Nitrogen (TNb) analysis. The instrument was under a maintenance agreement that expired on September 29, 2025, so a new service agreement is needed as soon as possible as this is a critical lab asset that must be maintained in strict accordance with manufacturer specifications to ensure uninterrupted operational performance. Annual Scheduled Preventive Maintenance: The Contractor shall provide one (1) scheduled onsite planned preventive maintenance (PM) visit per year, which shall include all labor, travel, consumables, and OEM factory-certified replacement parts, components, and subassemblies. 2. On-Site Corrective Maintenance: The Contractor shall provide unlimited on-site corrective maintenance and emergency repairs. The contractor must respond and arrive on-site within seven (7) business days of the initial call for service. 3. Software & Firmware Updates: The service plan shall include access to OEM technical developments and unlimited OEM system software, firmware, and hardware support and updates, as required by the OEM. 5. Technician Qualifications: All maintenance and repair activities shall be performed by service technicians/engineers who are formally trained, OEM-certified, and experienced in servicing this specific instrument. The Contractor, or their authorized subcontractor, must have direct access to the manufacturer’s latest proprietary diagnostic software, firmware updates, and factory technical support lines. 6. Troubleshooting & Parts Access: Service contract coverage shall include troubleshooting capabilities based on complete knowledge of the entire instrument, immediate access to certified replacement parts, and immediate access to improvements and new procedures provided by the OEM. 7.
