Market Research: A Sources Sought Notice was posted to SAM.gov on 7 January 2026 and was open for 15 days. No responses were received. A series of web searches were performed to search for tires that fit the required size of 340/80R20 for this wheel assembly. These searches were performed by the U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command (DEVCOM) Mobility Engineer on 16 December 2025. The details of the web searches are provided in the next section. In summary, it is confirmed that the Michelin BIBLOAD HARD SURFACE tire used in the JCB wheel assembly is still being produced and an alternative tire that fits the specification was found from Alliance Tires by Yokohama. No other tires were found that fit this size from Bridgestone, Firestone, Continental, Goodyear, Specialty Tires of America, Titan, Yokohama, or any other manufacturer. While there are two tires that fit the tire specification (one already used on the JCB wheel assembly and one alternative), no other vendors have been found that sell the combined tire wheel assembly.
