Amendment 01: The purpose of this amendment is to highlight the option exercise period for Option CLINs 0002 & 0003, listed in Clause 52.217-7 below. Option CLINs 0002 & 0003 may be exercised from Contract award to one year after award. PLEASE READ THIS ENTIRE NOTICE CAREFULLY AS IT CONSTITUES THE ONLY NOTICE THAT WILL BE ISSUED. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial products or commercial services prepared in accordance with part 12. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Request for Quote (RFQ) Number is N66604-26-Q-0312. This requirement is being solicited as a small business set-aside, Brand Name requirement for Dow-Key Microwave products. Part Number 581J-430822 manufactured by Dow-Key Microwave is the only item that satisfies all system design requirements. Since the Dow-Key switches are integrated into the current system design, alternates with similar specifications but even minor alterations would not be acceptable. Changes to these items would require significant system redesign and engineering, additional qualification testing, and re-installation, which would cause unacceptable costs and schedule delays for the Government. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this acquisition is 335314; the Small Business Size Standard is 750 employees. Offerors must be Dow-Key Microwave authorized distributors and provide proof of authorized distributor status in order to be considered acceptable.
