STATEMENT OF WORK FITNESS CENTER SAUNA UNITS AND CONTROL PANELS 12 February 2025 1. DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES: The contractor shall remove and replace existing outdated sauna heating units and control panels and install new sauna units and control panels in the men’s and women’s locker rooms located in the Fairchild AFB Fitness & Sports Center, building 2379, 300 W. Castle Street, Fairchild AFB WA 99011. The contractor or subcontractor providing the service must be certified in or have completed training for the work being conducted. 2. SCOPE OF WORK DEFINED: Remove and replace/install two (2) sauna units and control panels and necessary accessories and wiring required to operate both saunas. Units must meet or exceed the technical specifications of the current heater units and control panels and be sufficient for the space and configuration requirements for the sauna rooms. 2.1. Current equipment technical specifications: Men’s: 14.4KW and 208-volt heater unit, Finnleo Tech Time Control Panel Women’s: 12.0KW and 208-volt heater unit, Finnleo Tech Time Control Panel 2.2. The contractor shall furnish all labor, transportation, tools, materials, and associated equipment for on-site removal and installation of the new units in accordance with this SOW. 2.3. Work products and materials used should reduce the environmental damages associated with this SOW by considering the specification of environmentally preferable products and services to the extent feasible, consistent with price, performance, availability, and safety considerations. If and where available, products with recycled or bio-based content as well as other environmentally preferable attributes such as reduced packaging, durability and repair ability, reduced toxicity, conservation of natural resources, water conservation, Low Volatile Organic Compound (VOC) Content, and asbestos alternatives are preferred. 2.4. Contractor shall remove all materials and debris and maintain clean and orderly work ares. 2.5. The contractor shall immediately notify the Fairchild AFB Contracting Office for any questions, unforeseen site conditions, or conditions that may require further clarification or potential changes in scope. 2.6. Contractor shall perform duties as are necessary for proper control, issue, and disposal of hazardous and non-hazardous chemicals or materials in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. 3. CERTIFICATION. Contractor shall provide only certified and competent service technicians to perform any work in accordance with the best commercial practices, manufacture’s guidelines and equipment specifications. 4. CONTINUATION OF MISSION ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS. IAW DoDI 1100.22 (Policy and Procedures for Determining Workforce Mix), and any applicable Air Force implementation, unless otherwise directed by an authorized Government representative, it is determined that services provided under this contract are not mission essential for performance during a crisis. 5. GENERAL INFORMATION 3.1. Hours of Operation: Normal hours of operation are Monday-Friday, 5:00 a.m – 8:00 p.m., & Saturday-Sunday, 7:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m., excluding federal holidays.
