To be eligible for contract award, offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) as a Small Business under NAICS code of 541330 (Engineering Services). This written solicitation is issued in accordance with Revolutionary FAR Overhaul (RFO) FAR 12.202(b). A Standard Form 1449 (Solicitation/Contract/Order for Commercial Items) will not be used for the issuance of this solicitation; however, the Government anticipates awarding one Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Contract from this solicitation using the SF1449. CONTRACT LINE ITEMS (CLINs), QUANTITIES, AND UNITS OF MEASURE (UOM) Base Period of Performance: CLIN 0001: Quantity 12, UOM Each: The Contractor shall provide senior engineering services to develop and deliver food service equipment systems and technologies in accordance with the Statement of Work (SOW). CLIN 0002: Travel in accordance with Section C.4.1 of the SOW. Travel shall be in accordance with the Joint Travel Regulations (JTR). CLIN 0003: Quantity 12, UOM Each, Not Separately Priced: The Contractor shall submit Monthly Progress Reports in accordance with the Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) (Form DD1423) A001, included as Exhibit A. Option Year 1: -- 1 of 22 -- Option CLIN 1001: Quantity 12, UOM Each: The Contractor shall provide senior engineering services to develop and deliver food service equipment systems and technologies in accordance with the SOW. DESCRIPTION OF REQUIREMENT This requirement is for senior engineering technical services in accordance with the Statement of Work (SOW) to develop and deliver world-class leading-edge Military food service equipment systems and technologies to all four Services. The primary required services include product development, engineering, 3D modeling, specialized agricultural preservation expertise, systems modeling, process simulation, Artificial Intelligence processing, and structural and thermal analysis of Food Service Equipment and Systems. Please refer to the SOW for the full requirement. PLACE AND PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE The Period of Performance is anticipated to be 12 (twelve) months followed by 4 (four), 12 (twelve) month options. The Place of Performance is a combination of General Greene Avenue, Natick, Massachusetts and the contractor’s place of business.
