STATEMENT OF WORK
FOR
DRONE DETECTION

1.0 Objective &Scope
The purpose of this acquisition is for one (1) Drone Shield Immediate Response Kit including all
associated non-personal services, labor, tools, and equipment required for set-up and
implantation. Counter-small Unmanned Aircraft System (C-sUAS) equipment to support
Columbus AFB / 14th Security Forces Squadron.
2.0 Strict Brand Name Requirement
IAW DAFI31-101_DAFGM2025-01, 29 July 2025 para. 4.5. (U) Counter-small Unmanned
Aircraft Systems (C-sUAS). The Drone Shield Immediate Response Kit was explicitly tested and
approved for purchase by Air Education and Training Command (AETC) as a compliant system.
A comprehensive C-sUAS solution will provide early warning and response capabilities to
defenders, reduce risk to training operations, and produce auditable data for command decision-
making. The selected solution must provide both detection and defeat capabilities to fully
address the mission requirements.
3.0 Place of Performance
The place of performance for all deliveries, inspection, and acceptance shall be: 680
Seventh Street, Suite 121, Columbus AFB, MS 39710.
The contactor will be responsible for the installation, integration, and training for the security forces
group.
4.0 Period of Performance
4.1 Hardware Delivery: The contractor shall deliver all equipment specified in Section 5.0 within 45
days after receipt of order (ARO).
5.0 Equipment & Deliverables
Contractor shall provide the following new Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) Drone
Shield items. No gray market or refurbished items will be accepted.

6.0 On-Site Integration Services
6.1 System Configuration & Integration
The Contractor shall power on all installed hardware, update all components to the latest
Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) firmware, and load the most current Drone
Shield threat library.
6.2 Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) & Calibration
Calibration: The Contractor shall conduct RF baseline mapping and calibrate the
detection sensors to minimize false positives based on the specific electromagnetic
environment at Columbus AFB.
Verification: The Contractor shall execute a Site Acceptance Test (SAT) in the presence
of the government representative. The SAT must demonstrate successful power-up,
component communication, and simulated or live detection/defeat of a test signal (if
authorized by base spectrum managers).
Sign-off: Final Government acceptance of the installation occurs only after the
government representative signs the SAT completion document.
7.0 Warranty & Support
The contractor shall provide the standard commercial OEM warranty for all Drone Shield
hardware, commencing on the date of government acceptance. The contractor must also ensure
the government receives authorized access to OEM firmware and threat-library updates for the
duration of the software license.
8.0 Delivery & Acceptance
All deliverables shall be shipped FOB Destination to 680 Seventh Street, Suite 121,
Columbus AFB, MS 39710. Final acceptance will occur upon government
inspection to verify that the delivered items exactly match the requested Drone
Shield and are free of physical defects.
