STATEMENT OF OBJECTIVE (SOO) SKY WATCH TOWER MAINTENANCE CONTRACT DISTRIBUTION: DoW COMMUNITY ONLY 1. BACKGROUND The Contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, materials, transportation, supervision, and other resources necessary to service and maintain two (2) ICX Tactical Platforms (Skywatch Tower) units located aboard Marine Corps Recruit Depot Parris Island (MCRDPI), South Carolina. 2. OBJECTIVE The objective of this requirement is to maintain two (2) Skywatch Tower units at MCRDPI in fully operational condition and at full performance capability throughout the period of performance. 3. SCOPE The Contractor shall provide a comprehensive service package that includes, at a minimum, the following: a. Unlimited technical support via telephone and e-mail through a designated account manager. b. Preventive maintenance services, including a 12-point inspection and calibration of each unit at least once every twelve (12) months. c. Onsite training for Government personnel and resolution of any warranty-related issues during scheduled service visits. d. Detailed inspection reports, updated technical literature, minor repairs, replacement of minor parts as required, and demonstrations of newly available system options. e. A minimum of three (3) on-site service visits per year performed by factory-trained technicians. f. Coverage of 100 percent of all parts, labor, travel, and associated expenses required to perform the services under this requirement. 4. TASKS During scheduled service appointments, the Contractor shall perform the following tasks: a) Conduct a 12-point inspection and calibration of each Skywatch Tower unit. b) Provide on-site training and address any warranty-related issues identified during the visit. -- 1 of 2 -- STATEMENT OF OBJECTIVE (SOO) SKY WATCH TOWER MAINTENANCE CONTRACT DISTRIBUTION: DoW COMMUNITY ONLY c) Prepare and submit a detailed inspection report and provide updated technical literature. d) Perform minor repairs and replace minor parts as necessary to maintain operational capability. 5. REPORTING REQUIREMENTS The Contractor shall immediately notify the Government Representative of any deficiencies, malfunctions, or issues identified during the inspection, maintenance, or operation of the Skywatch Tower units. 6. TRAVEL All travel required for the performance of services under this requirement shall be the sole responsibility of the Contractor and shall be included in the contract price. 7.
