Description

The Government intends to solicit and contract with only one source, Timken Gears & Services Inc., for the parts listed on the Product Description under the authority of FAR 12.102 on a sole source basis. Determination by the Government is not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. This solicitation documents and incorporates provisions and clauses that are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2025-03 (Effective 03 January 2025) and DFARS Publication Notice 20250117.
DESCRIPTION: This requirement is to procure Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) itemized parts for the starboard main reduction gear PTO right angle pump drive assembly, and the Number 1A, 1B, 2A, and 2B Main Propulsion Diesel Engine (MPDE) Dual Clutch Assembly for a Whidbey Island class LSD.
