Can you get a confirmation on that?” Answer: The written specs on page 3 of 1202SC26Q2710 Attachment 1 Terms and Conditions are correct. The hose should be smooth bore with a corrugated outside. 2. Question: “I have a question regarding the specifications for solicitation 1202SC26Q2710 (Suction Hoses, NFES 0613). Attachment 1 lists a working temperature range of +140°F to −13°F for the hose assembly. Most standard 3" clear PVC suction hose on the market is rated to approximately −4°F, with the −40°F cold-flex grades typically offered only in 4" and larger sizes. Could you confirm whether the −13°F low-temperature figure is a firm minimum requirement for technical acceptability, or whether a hose assembly otherwise meeting the NFES 0613 specification but rated to −4°F would be considered acceptable?” Answer: Yes, the -13 degrees is the preferred spec, but -4 degrees is also acceptable. 3. Question: “I did not see how to Bid on this solicitation?” Answer: The process for submitting a quote for this solicitation is to fill out all required forms outlined in 1202SC26Q2710 Attachment 1 Terms and Conditions, Evaluation and Basis for Award, page 12 and return to me via email at shannon.meadows@usda.gov. 4. Question: “I am working on this request and want to confirm that in reference to 6" and 4" hose assemblies with flanges, that customer wants fixed x fixed flanges on both ends of assemblies?
