Troubleshoot Frequency Converter

STATEMENT OF WORK DOCK 8 FREQUENCY CONVERTER TROUBLESHOOTING MINOT AFB, ND 6 August 2026 1.0 DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES. The contractor will provide all management, tools, specialized equipment, supplies, technical data, and labor necessary to troubleshoot and inspect a Piller Power Systems Solid State APOJET AJS static frequency converter, serial # 9506019540. All work must be in accordance with the manufacturer’s specifications. 2.0. REQUIREMENTS. 2.1. Troubleshoot. The Contractor will troubleshoot all faults and error codes on the AJS C8-1R-90- 480/200-6/40-G-B frequency converter with a 480V, 3 phase, 60 Hz input and a 200/115V 3 phase, 400Hz, and 90 kVA output. The frequency converter is currently showing an Earthing Failure code R0704 and No Load Delay Start code E0957. Recommended repairs will be presented to the Government for approval before proceeding. 2.2. Inspection and Operations Test. The Contractor will perform an exterior inspection of the housing for any deterioration. Upon completion of inspection, the Contractor will follow the manufacturer’s approved procedures to perform an operations test. The operations test will consist of the testing of the frequency converter on an appropriate receptacle to ensure correct output. In the event further repairs are required, approval shall be coordinated with the Government and contracting officer prior to proceeding. The Government will provide appropriate receptacle for testing. 2.3. Parts and Repair Documentation. The contractor will provide documentation identifying all required repairs and upgrades as well as any repairs and upgrades completed and applicable warranties provided. Any required repairs that are outside the scope of this contract must be coordinated with the Contracting Officer. No additional repairs may be completed without a modification to this contract. 3.0. MANAGEMENT. 3.1. Contractor Employees. The contractor employees must be qualified to work on and possess the required experience to work on the 400 Hz AJS C8-1R-90-480/200-6/40-G-B frequency converter listed in this SOW. The contractor shall ensure the work is completed to the manufacturer’s specifications. 3.2. Hours of Work. Normal operating hours of the site are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., excluding federal holidays. 3.3. Schedule. Work will be scheduled within 14 days of contract award. Work must be completed within seven (7) working days from work start. 3.4. Site Cleanup and Waste Disposal. The contractor will ensure the worksite is cleared of all debris and surplus material at the end of each working day. Equipment and materials required to complete the work effort may remain on site if they are organized/ stored in a manner that does not cause a safety hazard. The contractor will dispose of waste to include unserviceable parts from this project off base and -- 1 of 2 -- IAW Federal, State, local, and base environmental laws, and regulations. Disposal of any hazardous waste must be coordinated with the Government POC. 3.5. Installation Access and Security. Work will be performed at Dock 8, Building 864, Bay 2 at Minot AFB, ND. A current REAL ID-compliant driver’s license, state-issued identification card, or U.S. passport, and a current automobile insurance document and vehicle registration will be required to a to gain access to Minot AFB. Contract personnel will not enter restricted areas without escort from authorized personnel. The contractor must restrict personnel to only those areas required to perform work. -- 2 of 2 --
