STATEMENT OF WORK
UPGRADE OF D3 TO D4 ON ZEBRA PRINTERS
PURPOSE
Purpose of purchase is to upgrade the DataRay equipment from D3 to D4 interfaces of the
Zebra printers utilized for patient wristbands throughout the Cheyenne River Health Center. A
technician will be onsite to complete the professional installation, testing, and end user
training.
BACKGROUND
The patient wristbands are utilized daily at the Cheyenne River Health Center and the D3
interfaces are End of Life and End of Support as of March 31st. The upgrade from D3 to D4 will
allow the Zebra printers to be supported and maintained under the current service agreement.
This upgrade will be a service that is performed by a DataRay Technician that is onsite. There
are multiple wristband printers throughout the service unit that need this upgrade. This
upgrade will allow Cheyenne River Health Center staff members to perform their job duties
effectively to provide the best patient care.
SCOPE
The Contractor must provide only new equipment and new parts for the required products
described herein; no used, refurbished, or remanufactured equipment or parts shall be
provided under any circumstances. Absolutely no “Gray Market Goods” or “Counterfeit
Electronic Parts” shall be provided. Gray Market Goods are defined as genuine branded goods
intentionally or unintentionally sold outside of an authorized sales-territory or by non-
authorized dealers in an authorized territory. All equipment shall be accompanied by the
Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM’s) warranty. Counterfeit Electronic Parts are defined
as unlawful or unauthorized reproduction, substitution, or alteration that has been knowingly
mismarked, misidentified, or otherwise misrepresented to be an authentic, unmodified
electronic part from the original manufacturer, or a source with the express written authority of
the original manufacturer or current design activity, including an authorized aftermarket
manufacturer. Unlawful or unauthorized substitution includes used electronic parts
represented as new, or the false identification of grade, serial number, lot number, date code,
or performance characteristics.

HOURS OF OPERATION
The hours of operation will be 8:00am to 5:00pm, Monday through Friday. The IT Supervisor,
with ample notification, must approve of any work conducted outside of the scheduled
operation time.
